Measuring Diversity in Research with GHUCCTS

April 16, 2019

Identity is multi-dimensional. Standard classifications of race, ethnicity and gender may not adequately capture the multiple ways that people define themselves. To better embrace this diversity, the Georgetown-Howard Universities Center For Clinical and Translational Science (GHUCCTS) has designed an expanded tool to collect social and demographic data in research.

Please join us for an overview and discussion about implementing a new research tool to improve measurement of diversity among study participants.  Your feedback will assist in refining the questionnaire for wide-scale adoption.

Can't attend in person? Join us via Zoom.
