The GHUCCTS Executive Committee (EC) comprises the GHUCCTS Principal Investigators; leaders of the clinical and translational research programs at MHRI, ORNL, and the DCVAMC; and the PIs of the companion K12 and T32 programs, joined by the Directors/Co-directors of each GHUCCTS element/core on an as-needed basis when decisions regarding their respective domains are discussed. In collaboration with the Principal Investigators, the EC oversees the implementation of GHUCCTS programs across the CTSA Hub. By virtue of their leadership roles at their respective institutions, the EC members are ideally situated to: 1) monitor progress of GHUCCTS activities at their sites, 2) provide advice to the Principal Investigators about potential problems with implementation of GHUCCTS initiatives at each institution, and 3) expedite solutions.
