Community Engagement (CE) supports development of sustainable partnerships between academic researchers and community stakeholders. Our services are designed to stimulate long-term collaborations that will promote translation of health research into effective practice and public policy.
Consultation Services
- Make introductions between investigators and potential community research partners.
- Provide best practice resources and training for community-academic partnerships.
- Provide expertise on the integration of culturally and linguistically competent approaches in all phases of research.
- Offer networking opportunities for researchers and community stakeholders to meet.
- Coach community-engaged research teams to build foundations for sustainable collaborations.
- Link primary care providers to a practice-based research network (PBRN).
Training
We provide training and professional development opportunities to enhance community engagement and cultural competence in research. Training resources and activities especially for community-based practitioners are also available.
Communications
