GHUCCTS member Dr. Jacqueline Jonklaas receives Distinguished Service Award from ATA


The American Thyroid Association awarded GHUCCTS member and Georgetown Professor of Medicine Jacqueline Jonklaas, MD, PhD, MPH, its Distinguished Service Award. The award honors a member who has made important and continuing contributions to the association.

Dr. Jonklaas is the Program Director for the Clinical Research Unit at Georgetown University and services as co-director of the GHUCCTS Participant and Clinical Interactions (PCI) programs.

Congratulations, Dr. Jonklaas!

GHUCCTS is pleased to announce our 2021-2022 GHUCCTS Pilot Awards application cycle. Applicants must have a full-time faculty appointment at one of the GHUCCTS institutions (Howard, Georgetown, DCVA, Medstar, ORNL). Each application should identify a Contact PI who will be responsible for coordinating and submitting the application. Applications are due Monday, April 19, 2021.

The Textbook & Academic Authors Association (TAA) recently announced the recipients of their 2021 Textbook Awards. "Evaluation in Today's World:  Respecting Diversity, Improving Quality, and Promoting Usability", co-authored by GHUCCTS Evaluation & Continuous Improvement Director Dr. Veronica Thomas, was one of ten textbooks to receive the "Most Promising New Textbook" award.
