TBS Workshop's Responsible Conduct of Research

Date Thu, Jun 2
Time 5: 30 PM - 7: 30 PM
Location Zoom

This session will focus on “Use of Human Subjects” as a part of the Translational Biomedical Science (TBS) Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Series with Shaunagh Browning DNP, RN, FNP-BC, CRN-BC, Georgetown University.

Goal: To provide face-to-face training for predoctoral students, postdoctoral fellows, and early-career investigators in the responsible conduct of research in order to promote ethical, rigorous, and reproducible science. The following in-person series dovetails to required CITI modules and provides an opportunity for investigators to discuss all aspects of these topics with an expert in the field. This series also fulfills the requirements of multiple funding agencies.

Tracking of your RCR Education
Participation in these sessions will be tracked and you will receive a certification of attendance for individual sessions. Certification, however, will not be provided if you are late or leave early.  You will also need to complete the RCR course, Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Clinical Practice Course (US FDA Focus), HIPAA, and Human Subjects on CITI Program.

Workshop Location
Workshops are held via Zoom on Thursdays from 5:30-7:30 PM. You will be notified by email the week before with the link to the Zoom session.  Please make yourself comfortable with using Zoom beforehand.
