This month's Research Grand Rounds features William S. Weintraub, MD, who will discuss "Big Data, Artificial Intelligence Precision Medicine?"
Dr. Weintraub is Director of Outcomes Research at the MedStar Heart and Vascular Institute and Professor of Medicine at Georgetown University. Over the past 40 years, with continuous peer-reviewed support, he has contributed to translational, outcomes and quality research including large scale registries, randomized clinical trials, comparative effectiveness and contributions in epidemiology, health disparities, health care economics, regulatory science and guidelines development. His research has resulted in >600 publications, including many which have directly influenced clinical practice and health policy.
This clinical and translational research talk, with implications for clinicians and investigators across disciplines, will share Dr. Weintraub’s important work advancing the incorporation of new data sources and types, new methods, and new care constructs to change practice and improve health.
