GITVC HIV Awareness: Understanding HIV Pre-exposure and Preventative Measures in Cis-Gender Women & the Importance of Clinical Trial Randomization

Please join us for an important discussion in recognition of World AIDS Day. Our virtual event will feature a presentation by Rachel K. Scott, MD, MPH, an HIV and Women's Health specialist, on HIV Prevention and Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) for Cisgender Women. We will also discuss clinical trial randomization and its importance in conducting research.
This month's GHUCCTS in the Virtual Community (GITVC) event will focus on "Understanding HIV Pre-exposure and Preventative Measures in Cis-Gender Women & the Importance of Clinical Trial Randomization". Join us during World AIDS Day to learn more about HIV prevention and Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP).

Guest Speaker: 
Rachel Scott, MD, MPH, serves as Scientific Director of Women’s Health Research at MHRI, Associate Chair for Research and Director of the Washington Women's Center for Positive Living, both in the MWHC Department of Women’s & Infants’ Services, and as Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Georgetown.
