William Schnaper Visiting Scientist (WSVS) Fall 2024 Mini-Symposium: "Focusing on Unmet Needs in Clinical and Translational Science"

CTSA WSVS mini-symposium, hosted by the Georgetown-Howard Universities Center for Clinical and Translational Science (GHUCCTS) and co-sponsored by Coordination, Communication, and Operations Support (CCOS). 

This will be held over Zoom.  Selected speakers will present for 8 minutes followed by a 2-minute Q&A.

This is a great opportunity for T trainees to present their research and get feedback in a national CTSA forum before the 2025 Translational Science meeting.

The goal of the virtual mini-symposium is to highlight fellows' stories of innovation, creativity, adaptability, and including the development of new research questions and adaptation of ongoing research. Crossing boundaries includes developing research questions/conducting research that involves interdisciplinary/transdisciplinary concepts, tools, and techniques as well as stories of adaptation as a result of research boundaries/limitations/roadblocks.
