This series features Dr. Paul Kolm, Associate Director in the Department of Biostatistics and Biomedical Informatics at MedStar Health Research Institute. The topic of this month's seminar will be power and sample size: considerations for determining the number of subjects/patients for a study as well as calculation of sample size.
