The 2025 GHUCCTS AI CoLab Summer Intensive Workshop: AI, Biostatistics, & Data Science

The 2025 GHUCCTS-AI CoLab Summer Intensive Workshop is a one-week, hands-on training program for early-career researchers and students interested in health data, biostatistics, and AI.

Dates: July 28 to August 1, 2025
Time: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time
Format: Virtual or In-Person

Cost: $2,000 per participant;

This intensive program includes expert instruction, interactive coding labs, and project-based learning using R, Python, and open health datasets. Daily sessions focus on core themes such as:

  • Introduction to biostatistics and data collection
  • Correlation, regression, and data exploration
  • Group comparisons and inference
  • Power analysis and introductory machine learning
  • AI in health research and a capstone project

Participants will leave with a stronger ability to analyze health data, collaborate across disciplines, and apply AI methods in research settings. We welcome learners from clinical, academic, and public health backgrounds.
