Journal of Clinical and Translational Science seeking manuscripts for special issue on data science in clinical and translational research

Cambridge University Press is issuing a Call for Papers for a special themed issue of the Journal of Clinical and Translational Science which will focus on Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Research Design, and other aspects of Data Science in Clinical and Translational Research. Manuscript submissions will be received through March 16, 2020.

Manuscripts must be written for a broad target audience of all translational researchers. To ensure this, reviewers will include both clinical and translational researchers and data scientists for each manuscript. Manuscripts will be accepted from across the spectrum of Data Science related topics, with a focus on data-based manuscripts, though the domains below are of particular interest.

  • The impact of biostatistics, epidemiology, and research design on clinical and translational research outcomes
  • The evolution of novel methods to accelerate clinical and translational research
  • Methods education for clinical and translational researchers
  • Systems and processes for optimizing consultation and collaboration

Submissions should be made online via the Journal’s ScholarOne submission site. Authors are asked to select “Data Science in Clinical and Translational Research” in the Themed Issue submission question when submitting to this issue.
