The Innovation Center for Biomedical Informatics (ICBI) at Georgetown University is excited to announce their 8th Annual Health Informatic and Data Science Symposium. The symposium will be held on Friday, October 18, 2019 at the Georgetown University Conference Center. Dr. Laura Esserman, Director of the Carol Franc Buck Breast Care Center and Dr. Eric Perakslis, Rubenstein Fellow at Duke University will be this year's spotlight speakers.

Sessions Led by Leaders in the Field Include: 

  • Genomics driven health
  • Liberating Health Data for Precision Research
  • Practicing Responsible and Ethical AI to Advance Health
  • Poster Session 
  • Special Networking Session

The Symposium is free for academic and government participants and will showcase exciting advances in the areas of health data analytics, precision health, and related state-of- the-art technologies.

Join a dynamic community of innovators, research scientists, clinicians, program managers, educators, and students to exchange ideas and learn new methodologies. Submit an abstract to present your work! The symposium also offers an opportunity to network with colleagues during the evening reception and compete for the best poster award.
