Howard University Opioid Symposium & Naloxone Administration Training for Pharmacy Professionals

The Howard University College of Pharmacy Office of Continuing Professional Education and the Washington DC Pharmacy Association present the Howard University Opioid Symposium & Naloxone Administration Training for Pharmacy Professionals. This full day symposium and training will take place on Friday September 6, 2019 at the Howard University Cramton Auditorium at 2455 6th St NW, Washington DC 20059. 

Registration fees:

  • Pharmacists $65
  • Pharmacy Technicians $35
  • Other Healthcare Professionals $50
  • Students, Residents & Fellows FREE
The symposium and training includes:

  • Experienced Speakers addressing the National Opioid Addiction Crisis
  • Hands-on naloxone administration training by FDA Opioid Trainors at Howard University Health Sciences Simulation & Clinical Skills Centers
  • Up to 6 ACPE approved Continuing Education credits for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
  • Certification for those who complete pre-and post-event activities
  • Meals and Refreshments
All pharmacist and pharmacy technician participants who attend the symposium are eligible to earn up to 6 ACPE CE credits. However, all participants who complete the pre and post-symposium activities, in addition to applicable ACPE CE credits, will also be awarded an Opioid and Naloxone Administration Training Certificate of Completion.
